Good sleep in a comfortable bed. The hotel and room were spotlessly clean.

Location - marvelous. There was the central station close by. We could walk to story bridge as it was only 1 km away: )
Nothing for me.

The location was very good and the owners very friendly and helpful. The bed - and bathroom were fairly clean. I especially liked the seperation of female and male bathroom!
The room was rather small but okay for one person, two nights :-)

Wendy went out of her way to assist me with taking very heavy suitcases to the railway station in torrential rain. That was way beyond what I expected as normal good service and it made a huge difference. It was also lovely to see a special effort made on Australia day with fresh damper amd lamingtons.
Rooms were very clean, I work as an aromatherapist so am quite sensitive to smell. I'm not a big fan of convential cleaning products and prefer the freshness of ecological cleaning products with essential oils but that is just a personal preference.

This was such a lucky find. The staff are friendly and honest, and the place itself is a piece of history. Definitely the place for any curious traveller who prefers good company over widescreen TVs.
It should have been better advertised to let people know what a gem this place is!

If you want to feel at home, stay in this house. It is an incredible place full of history. You can still feel Annie's soul in the place. People are so gentle and ready to make your stay as best as possible. Especially Tony who wait for us on a very late arrival. Located at walking distance from downtown Brisbane, it is amazing how this litte colourful old house still survived surrounded by modern buildings.
Like at home somtimes you have to wait your turn for the bathroom !

Annie's Shandon is a great and super-cute place to stay. Although it is centrally located, it is very quiet. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly, helpful, and makes you feel very welcome. I would stay there again, so I highly recommend it.

I felt at home with the host very sweet and friendly. I loved the charm of the old building and the beautiful paintings.
At night it was too dark when trying to put the key in the room door. Would be nice if there was a very soft watt light to assist (Room 7)
